With thanks...
Thanks to President Handley for the Presidential mini-grant that helped to make this trip possible! This is the second year that UMA faculty have been able to take students abroad. Spring 10 a group went to Guatemala and this winter another group went to Haiti. We will be spending the week in Nicaragua doing a variety of activities from work in and for the community to tours of Managua to Spanish lessons. We'll find some time to relax but will also be continuing our classroom work without the usual walls!
